No Mis-Matched Socks

I don't have any single socks anymore. Every time I do the laundry, each pair shows up complete.

I remember when I was raising my girls we forever had single socks that ended up in a sock bag. Every now and then we would sit down and open the bag to try and match pairs.

My youngest daughter is 29 next Monday. Some would say that would (should) make me a older, mature woman. The truth is, I feel like I am 29 on the inside.

Happy Birthday to Emily! She entered our lives by surprise, she has taken our lives by surprise and she leaves us in awe. She has accomplished more in those 29 years than either her dad or me.

She sorta' reminds me of my dad in the fact that she sets goals and accomplishes them. She wants to make a better world and she contributes. My dad also helped to make this a better world. Perhaps his legacy lives.

Time passes too fast.
