It Really Happened

Saturday I was working on the computer and listening to MSNBC in the background. They were talking about the upcoming presidential election.

All of a sudden I hear the announcer say, "Let's hear from our correspondent in Washington D.C., Emily Hile." I nearly fell out of my chair. Part of me wasn't surprised and part of me was super proud. I turned around expecting to see my daughter on the TV.

But it was someone who spells their name Heil.

I HAD to call Em and tell her. It was an amazing feeling!
