Going on Record

I have to go on record. Enough has been said in the news about California and their amended marriage licenses.

They have drug out and touted this 55-year relationship between two women which will now have the rights of "marriage".

I understand that after spending any length of time in a committed relationship that to relinquish control of medical decisions for a partner or the lack of social security benefits for dependents and any other security would be disheartening.

But I submit - they make physical revisions from nature to enjoy their relationship surely they can anticipate and make financial arrangements for the care of each other in like manner.

It is a sign of the times. Current trends give permission to avoid anything opposite in favor of a corner full of same.

Help us, Jesus.
