Poppin'

I lean toward dark colors when choosing my wardrobe. My husband told me a few years back, "no more black or navy blue". So I try.

I bought a bohemian, earth-colored suit but then did not have the confidence to wear it. I wore it once and it is now hanging at the consignment store waiting for a new owner.

Yesterday I wore a skirt and shirt which could have used some color so I attempted to dress it up with red accessories (shoes, bracelet). I immediately took them off and went back to basic black.

I guess I don't have what it takes to "pop" like stylists suggest.
