Loss of Control

My husband has a few pet peeves (those two words can cause panic alone).

One of late is the fact that schools are not teaching cursive writing anymore. This is from an individual who attended kindergarten through third grade at a Catholic school.

This school made him change from a lefty to a right-y back in the 1950's.

So, the point is you need to know how to write cursively?

The other day I slipped a letter in the mail so he could get something in his new PO Box. BUT I typed it on my computer because it is faster not to mention neater.

I thought I wouldn't be so impersonal to type my words of endearment so I picked up my ink pen and proceeded to write "Love," as my closing. But since I hadn't practiced my cursive lately, it came out "Loie,"

He has a point.
