Lately, my conclusions concerning the treatment of associates who have chosen reprobate paths have come into question. It is assumed I am not very forgiving or Christ-like.
Do we need to have a Bible Study? I guess so.
Is it kindness to approve of behavior that was contrary to the Word of God? What was it that Paul told the church? From such, turn away.
I was there when the Lord spoke through the gifts and gave warning. I was there when His power fell and conviction moved throughout the congregation. I believe in a judgment, though delayed, will happen. I believe that a root of bitterness will defile many.
I guess if you want the power of God and all its ugly ramifications of separating goats from sheep, you will defend it to the end. If you want "play" church and breaking bread with reprobates in this life you can choose to have that. But there will be an unveiling of "touching the anointed" and adding to and taking away from the pure Word of God which will take many by surprise.
It's not that I'm not very forgiving, it is simply not my place to pronounce "I'm okay, you're okay." That was God's business and He spoke once and doesn't have to speak again.

It is necessary to eat of the whole Lamb, the whole Word of God. Of this I am convinced. I have seen His Word become reality too many times to doubt any of it. To be nice for the sake of niceness and to appease a world's definition of Christianity and to build your own character is self-righteousness.
