I can't believe it.
I am captivated by the show "Clean House".
It amazes me. Anytime I see it on, I have to stop and watch. This morning I was watching it at 5:00 a.m.
The show I watched this morning involved an artsy couple who had great ideas but could not get where they wanted and didn't know how to get there.
The part of the show which fascinates me the most is when people have to "let go" of their "mess treasures". At some point they had plans for every article which now clutters their lives. High emotions are usually involved. They bargain. They cry. They become angry and defensive. Eventually, they let go and they are freed from their clutter.
I know what you are thinking - what an analogy to our lives in Christ!!!
What am I bargaining, crying, angry and defensive about? I don't want to be contentious or even touchy when it comes to moving on. Also, let everything be in moderation. I don't need to hoard anything. I received freely, I should give freely.
We all need a clean house.

Amen. It sounds like the seven stages of grieving, or is it five? I can't remember all of them. I know denial, anger, bargaining and acceptance are four stages.
