Bound Up With Jesus

I Samuel 25:29b is a prayer over David which moves me. It reads, "the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling."

David had a need for this prayer because Saul sought his life. Saul's sole purpose was to destroy David.

Can you imagine being bound in the the bundle of life with the Lord? That's the place to be.
