There is a new sign in front of the acupuncture school which is on my way home from work. It is a huge computer screen. The sign presents a half-typed, cryptic telephone number. After the number flashes a bit, the screen completely bursts into solid lights with what looks like Chinese writing running off the side of the screen.
It looks like a big mistake. Someone spent big money to have this sophisticated sign installed months ago. It has not been functional since that installation. I have gotten used to it not saying anything worth understanding.
In this topsy turvy world I am not surprised at the amount people will invest in mechanisms while not being concerned about something to say?
