Prayer Requests

Our church has an email distribution list of people dedicated to interceding for the needs of the church body and those we love. Today I was moved by a portion of one of the requests. This saint of God was wanting us to pray for one of her co-workers who is losing her battle with cancer in her liver. She listed several points to pray, i.e. strength, comfort, that her faith would not fail, etc. And then she said,

and that even in the midst of all of her pain and disappointment she will see Jesus high and lifted up and that He will give her peace and joy for this journey

Isn't that one of the most wonderful prayer requests you have ever read? It gives our sovereign God all the glory and honor.

Oh the depth and riches of the precious community of believers.
