I heard a woman say this on NPR just a moment ago. She was talking about planting a flower garden with native plants. The point she was stressing is most people will not start replacing their "water hungry" plants without being able to complete the whole bed - therefore any amount of worth is postponed until a complete work can be accomplished.
Her comment fit the situation. People aim for perfection or completion and value is missed from not initiating small changes.
This subject could be applied in the Spiritual realm as well. How many of us postpone any kind of work on ourselves because it seems so insurmountable.
Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
